Kayla has had a lifelong passion for fitness and nutrition.  She believes in a holistic sense of health, including both the mind and body.  She has her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Health and Wellness and is now currently attending Chestnut Hill College for her Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology.  Kayla likes to bring the positive psychology component into her training to help clients feel good about themselves and improve their mood.  


Kayla enjoys running, strength training, indoor cycling, and the occasional yoga class.  She has successfully completed 4 half-marathons.


She enjoys playing around in the kitchen, giving some popular dishes and baked goods a healthy makeover to prove that healthy can still taste delicious!  She also runs her own health and fitness blog called Blondes Have More Run (blondeshavemorerun.com), where you'll find her latest workouts and healthy recipe creations!

When it’s fun, you’re more likely to do it, and stay with it.  Group fitness programs are one of the best ways for people to get fit and stay fit. They bring a social aspect that breeds commitment, accountability, competition and FUN! Our goal is to provide the newcomer with a non-threatening environment to begin their life of fitness, while challenging the seasoned athlete with a safe and effective workout. We accomplish both of these goals in the same program.

Kim Matlock Heffelfinger

Yoga Loft Certified Yoga Instructor


Kim began her yoga practice at the Yoga Loft of Bethlehem in 2011 when she started working the front desk and taking class regularly.   She graduated from the Yoga Loft's 200 hour teacher certification program in May 2015.  Kim worked as a massage therapist for twelve years and incorporates this life experience into a unique approach to her yoga class, exploring the nexus between anatomy and yoga.  Through the Teacher Training program she has been able to deepen her knowledge of the yogic philosophy and apply her understanding of the anatomy to her yoga practice. 


Her favorite teaching style is a creative, alignment based Vinyasa flow.  When not teaching yoga, Kim works at The Social Still creating hand crafted cocktails.  In her spare time she enjoys nature and being outdoors, gardening and indulging in culinary experiences.

Kathy has been in the Health and Wellness field for over 25 years with experience in Spinning, Personal Training, Boot Camp, Pilates, Step, wellness lectures, corporate fitness and much more.  She loves hearing her students "stories" and is continually searching for new educational tidbits to share with them. 


She is certified through AFAA, ACSM, ACE and is just completing her Masters in Education at DeSales University. When not teaching classes, she loves to spending time with her family, running 5Ks and Spartan Races, taking on fitness challenges, going hiking, and being outdoors.

"I have always had a passion for fitness and working out. Cycling has always been the focal point and driving force behind my fitness goals, having competed in hundreds of mountain, track, road and currently cyclocross races. But I have found to be a good cyclist, it is important to train your whole body and challenge all the different muscles groups to achieve a strong core, cardio endurance and flexibility. The other key component is a strong mental capacity to push yourself to new heights and challenges. Having competed in Spartan races and other obstacle course events, has led to the
4-Alarm bootcamp class that is currently offered at CSS. Life is full of challenges, but if you keep yourself fit in both body and mind, those challenges become easier to navigate and confront.

Jen began her fitness journey twenty two years ago. After taking a variety of aerobics classes, all of which she fell in love with, Jen was motivated to get certified (AFAA) to start teaching classes immediately. Jen also took several college fitness courses which helped prepare her to teach. From there on out, she has taught at various gyms, yoga studios, colleges and corporations.


Jen has been practicing and teaching yoga for fifteen years. YogaFit (Yoga for the Fitness Industry) is designed to improve health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness while blending balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format which is doable at any fitness level.


Jen is a people person and enjoys doing anything active while interacting, teaching or helping people. Whether you are 2 or 72, she will have a plan for you! Jen’s fitness philosophy is, “Taking a little time out for YOU daily will empower you to live a much happier and healthier lifestyle; with that, you will be able to sprinkle that sunshine anywhere and everywhere, whether it’s by giving back to others or just by living and being the BEST version of YOU.”
